Change it Now, or Change It Never

What has the Lord does for me? How can God make a way in your life? How can he change your life? These are the questions I get asked in my life because the Lord works in many different ways. Jesus has always been in my life, I just never knew it until I started going to church. Growing up, I would get asked to go to church and the only answer I would say is "Why?" or "What's the point?". My parents would ask me to attend church and I would say the same thing. One day, I finally had the courage to go, not knowing what I would get myself into.

"There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction." - Winston Churchill

When walking into church for the first time, I heard the music and the word of the preacher and I thought to myself, "Kam, How do you feel right now?". In this moment, I immediately felt interested and wanted to continue coming to church, hearing the word, listening to the music and hopefully finding the passion within the church. I never knew that going to church was going to change my life until I started understanding the works of the bible and who God was and what was he capable of. As my emotions crave excitement, I started to attend church more often because it was the words of the preacher and how his word reminded me of my challenges and my path to success. As a person of fascination, I always thought about what the word meant to me, but, I struggled with it. Even, the bible, but, I was taught to pull a scripture that mattered the most to me, reword it, and connect it to how I felt it spoke to me or related to me.

What pushed me towards the Lord was learning how to pray. Praying is how I communicated with God and talked to him about what the future holds for me. I could always hear God whispering to me, "I got you, We got this!" . Imagining God saying these words is why I continued to keep worshipping God as I continue my path of faith through my college experience. Over this past semester, I joined Chi Alpha because I wanted to continue my path of faith and keep leading me to a changing future. Since Chi Alpha, I've made choices and met a wonderful group of people who believed in what God has in store for me and why he will not let me go. God is a HEALER, LEADER, ROLE MODEL, and a FATHER because when I am dealing with challenges, I pray that he will fix those issues. Chi Alpha will always have a place in my heart because they are family to me and have changed my life through the spoken words of the Lord. So you ask me what G.O.D. has done for me, you ask me How can God make a way in my life? How can God CHANGE my life? ...

God has made a way in my life and continued to believe in what I have or done. God has changed my life through my passion, support, love and care for him. I'm now a freshmen in college, a member of Chi Alpha, a child of God. I now ask you... How has God changed your life? What do you believe God has in store for you? What has he does for you?

The Small Journey

I would say that my life as a Christian technically started when I was little, as my mom would take me to church quite often. Although, I would never come to understand what they would preach, and I r
